Gooseneck shovel

In France gooseneck shovels are by far the most preferred type of shovel. De sleeve of the shovel has a special goose neck shape with a straight handle. The blade has a pointed shape so it is better suited for stony soil.

Another variant of the gooseneck shovel is the square shovel, this is also used as a concrete shovel.
