Axe and hammerhandles

Safety first

Safety is our first concern when we design and produces our ax and hammerhandles. More than ever, we pay attention to the quality and the choice of wood.

Note (always, but especially for axes and hammerhandles) the correct diameter and a good sharpening when you purchase a replacement handle.

Only the hardest wood species

Since the hardness of the wood is very important, hammer and ax handles are only manufactured from ash or hickory wood. Ash is a commonly used wood species for tools handles. The long nerves of the wood is always straight and go along the entire length of the handle. Hickory is particularly suitable for axes and hammers, because it is even harder than ash. We recommend this type of wood whatsoever for professional and industrial use.
